In order to get hired and add marketability to your career, you need to show you are a results-oriented person, focused on accomplishments and getting things done. Career Coach Steve Piazzale says you must include results on your resume by creating PSRs (Problem, Solution, Results). These little bullet points on your resume tell why something was important, what it contributed, and what difference it made. Steve says you also need to spell out your personal brand. This is just a summary statement or elevator pitch of your value proposition. To create this, think about your endorsements, awards, and compliments you have received. Make sure you are consistent with this whether online, on paper or in person. When others hear or read this about you whenever your name comes up, others will know you have a lot to contribute and they will want to work with you.
