Then, provide an example of how you have learned to turn the earlier mistake into a strength. For example, you can say you are too detail-oriented and in the past you have been so focused on the detail that you were missing the big picture.

While answering, confidently explain how you have learned from this mistake to find a balance to focus on the overarching goal and then, relate it to how this lesson learned will help you in the new position.

This shows that you have progressed and made improvements in your career.
